In 2022, we established our mission as
“By connecting the production sites and consumers, we color the ‘future of eating' in this country in a healthy way.”

This mission is based on the spirit of the Marubeni Group's corporate motto, “Right, New, Harmony.”
“Right” stands for “absolute justice,” “New” for “willingness to take on new challenges,” and “Harmony” for “teamwork and organizational strength.”

In our long history, Marubeni Seafoods has discovered overseas marine resources, supplied steadily to the Japanese market, and pursued reasonable consumer prices.
We also focus more on resource management, environmental protection, sustainability, and SDGs initiatives. We have begun participating in environmentally friendly land-based aquaculture, a sustainable marine resource. In addition, in the cold storage business, where we manage our cargo, we are switching from CFC gas, an environmentally hazardous substance, to an environmentally friendly natural refrigerant (CO2).

We will continue to make our organization even more valuable to consumers.
We are committed to preserving the food culture of the island nation of Japan and passing it on to the children of the future while responding to the needs of the times, such as “ready-to-eat” and “convenience.” Even in today's ever evolving and technologically innovative society, food, which is the basis of our culture, remains the same. The basis of our business is “deliciousness,” and in addition, we pursue a balance between “convenience” and “reasonable price.”
